You probably know that Sundays are one of my favorite days of the week.
It is a great time to connect with friends and family, but do you spend time working on your finances as well.
Many of us have dreams of retiring to a tropical island or your mountain paradise, but never put a plan together to make it happen.
Some of us do take the time to put put some money in savings, and perhaps a 401k or Individual Retirement arrangement, but then we set it and forget it.
Visualizing Retirement
What do you really want to accomplish in you more Senior years? Do you want to give back, spend time with family and friends, or want to sit back and watch television.
Take a moment right now and project in to the future what you want? Make it tangible. Draw pictures. Cut out pictures to focus on each day. It is not good enough to just think it, you need to take action. Think about what type and what amount of income you can carry into retirement.
Have you saved enough? Remember Social Security is only designed to provide 30% of your income. Where will the rest come from?
The Financial Junk Drawer
Are you like me and have a drawer in the kitchen where you stuff odds and ends? Perhaps you do not even know what is in it anymore. Likewise we all have financial junk drawers that are not organized as well. What are going to do with those savings accounts, CD’s, 401ks and IRA’s. Do you have plan for them? You may need to dust them off and reorganize them for your future needs.
In fact today I would suggest another option to build a stream of income, and it is not an annuity. Think about building a digital business that works for you 24/7.
Digital Streams of Income
You could build an educational platform where you could teach people how to build a skill. Great teachers are always in high demand.
You could build a digital agency to help build sales and recognition for companies not yet on line.
You could also sell other peoples products on line and receive a commission on the products you promote.
Literally with the skillset and the mindset the sky is the limit in building Cashflow.
